My second box this month was none other than Book Box Club and it was bloody brilliant! Where I grew up people say that your first pancake is always burnt, well this was their first box and they came in with a bang instead. In my humble opinion that is.
Here’s a video of me being extremely tired and uncoordinated if you want to watch me struggle through this box:
I believe everyone who was expecting this box would have gotten this by now so I am putting this out there with no fear of spoiling things.
The theme was Enchanted forest and I think everything fit the theme brilliantly, except maybe the book. But I haven’t read it yet, so maybe?
So first of all, I have a thing for unique necklaces. This one will fit in my humble collection like nothing else. I love it! The seeds inside the glass bubble remind me of the country I grew up in, in the best way possible. Warm feeling everywhere. It’s made by Oh Panda Eyes on Etsy, although I believe the shop is taking a break at the moment. Absolutely over the moon with this one!
A5 lined notebook with possibly top 5 designs I have ever seen. How beautiful? I can’t stop but associate it with Harry Potter and Snape’s patronus, doe. Am I the only one? Mayhaps. It’s already in use. Very light and practical for taking with you wherever you go. By Nikki Strange. I will admit to spending quite a few minutes in that shop, everything looks so amazing and if I could afford it I would literally buy one of each product!
This is easily my favourite print I ever have gotten. I am not a big fan of prints, they just all end up in a drawer somewhere, forgotten. But this one is so lovely, I couldn’t do that. By The Paper Trade.
I am a total sucker for these things! not the buttons, I don’t even own a denim jacket and not sure where I’ll pin it, but these little thingies that make you feel special! A founding member button! How awesome!
Not really a product, but I loved the way the invitation to the exclusive online event for the members was presented! There was a little string too but I removed it when filming and I think one of the cats must have ‘borrowed’ it.
There were also 3 little notebooks from Penguin Random House which included chapters from new releases such as The Grace by Laura Eve, Holding Up The Universe by Jennifer Niven, and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo.
And then, of course, the book! It was wrapped up as a gift, you can see it in the video.
This hardcover book is GORGEOUS! It’s The Call by Peadar O’Guilin. Simple black and silver, makes me want to read it during winter. I might if I succeed in resisting it. It sounds very intriguing:
Imagine a world where you might disappear any minute, only to find yourself alone in a grey sickly land, with more horrors in it than you would ever wish to know about. And then you hear a horn and you know that whoever lives in this hell has got your scent and the hunt has already begun.
Could you survive the Call?
It sounds as if Hunger Games of Ireland. Who wouldn’t read that?
In love with this book. Absolutely gorgeous presentation, made the unboxing of it feel truly magical. I think I enjoyed it a bit more than the Nerdy Book Worm Box and cannot wait for the next one!
Until the next time.
